We are looking for dedicated leaders with a background in electronics! Within the Product Development area at AFRY in Stockholm, you will work on the product development of high-tech and intelligent products for the sustainable world of the future.

The products come from the industries that AFRY Product Development currently works with:

• Consumer Products
• Telecom
• Automotive
• MedTech
• Industrial Technology

As Tech Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the product is designed and delivered according to plan. You are responsible for organizing and leading planning sessions, in addition to the technical design work.

You also coach and support your team members and strive for a learning atmosphere within the team. You thrive in and want to lead teams in a development environment.

In this role, you interact with many different people within the business, so it is vital that you are a skilled communicator who can explain complex matters in a simple way. Furthermore, you are experienced in requirements and needs management and have the ability to compile these into concrete and realistic goals.

You have experience from a similar role and wish to develop in the role, or have worked with electronics development for several years and now want to take the step up to Tech Lead.

Since we work with many international customers, it is required that you communicate fluently both orally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Furthermore, you have experience with:

• Developing and documenting complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Analyzing and translating requirements into system, hardware, and software design and interface specifications.
• Testing and validating to ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Resolving issues related to and providing other support for field hardware throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinating and representing the team in project development activities.

You also have knowledge in several of the following areas:

• High-speed digital design
• Schematic capture and PCB layout
• Practical lab experience with hardware bring-up and troubleshooting
• Basics of signal and power integrity
• Design for EMC and EMC testing
• Hardware integration in multi-function systems
• Familiarity with the challenges of taking a product from design to production
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent required; MSc preferred

The assignment may be security classified, which means it may be subject to a security clearance. Therefore, Swedish citizenship and good knowledge of the Swedish language are required.
