ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a Personal Assistant this summer for our client in Bollnäs. The position is approximately 50–75% with good opportunities for continued work after the summer. If you have the possibility to start the position earlier in the spring as a temporary substitute, we view this positively.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

Start date is by agreement, where we would like you to be able to start training immediately, or at the latest in June.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a young man in his 20s with multiple diagnoses. He lives with his family in Bollnäs. As an assistant, you will help him with all daily routines such as meals, hygiene, dressing and undressing, medication, developing his independence and communication skills, as well as assisting with transfers.

Furthermore, our client enjoys playing computer/TV games, playing, and music, both listening and playing himself. He is very humble and empathetic, as well as very happy and positive, which is contagious to those around him. It is particularly important to him that people in his vicinity are sensitive and have in-depth knowledge of him, his communication, and his needs.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be sensitive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. As a person, you should be positive, orderly, and pedagogical in your approach. The client has high susceptibility to infection, so it is very important that you are careful with your hygiene and in good health. You do not need to be smoke- or snuff-free yourself, but out of respect for the client's wishes, the home is smoke- and snuff-free during working hours.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Smoke- and snuff-free during working hours
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Nursing experience or equivalent
• Sign language skills
• Interest in music/TV games

Employment level: Summer substitute position approx. 50–75% with good opportunities for continued employment.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (criminal record extract). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check covers both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed in good time.
