Account Manager for the South Region – Public Sector

Senab's first interior design project saw the light of day in 1975, and today we are one of the leading suppliers in the Nordics to both the private sector and the public sector. For over fifty years, we have guided projects – often in collaboration with architects – from inventory and sustainable choices to logistics and the realization of customer needs. Therefore, we are now looking for an Account Manager with a focus on the public sector for our office in Malmö. A person with the drive to develop new and existing businesses – so that we can continue to grow responsibly.

Is this you?

A personal interest in furniture and interior design, as well as experience from the interior design industry, is of course a plus. But – that is not what determines if you are the right person. For us, it is more important that you have good knowledge of B2B sales – and even more importantly, experience selling to organizations within the public sector. Above all, you need the ability to define business opportunities, develop existing collaborations, and then create projects from them. To make good long-term deals in the public sector, you need familiarity and good knowledge of procurement processes and framework agreements.

About the role

At Senab, you will have a business-driving role where you are responsible for creating new customer relationships and developing exciting interior design projects in the region. Your focus will be on early identification of projects within the public sector, where Senab has strong framework agreements, and developing them into business.

As an Account Manager, you work independently and proactively to find new business, process customers, and drive the sales process from first contact to closure. You do this with support from experienced Account Managers and a strong internal team. Close to you in your daily work are project coordinators, sustainability experts, interior architects, buyers, tender specialists, as well as delivery and installation staff. Together, we ensure that the customer gets the right holistic solution – functionally, economically, and sustainably.

You don't just sell furniture – you help our customers buy the right interior design for their environments based on their needs. You always advocate for solutions, services, and project management where sustainability and reuse are part of the offering.

Your responsibilities

  • Represent Senab in customer meetings, industry forums, and other business contexts
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential customers and convert these into value-creating offers
  • Develop business within the public sector, for example with municipalities, universities, and authorities
  • Work actively with existing framework agreements and contract customers
  • Lead and coordinate the creation of schedules, budget foundations, and project structures together with internal project coordinators
  • Follow up on customer dialogues and ensure progress in the business
  • Drive the business all the way to closure and long-term collaboration
  • Meet sales targets, profitability, and budget in line with the company's strategy

Your background and experience

We are looking for you who are a driven and self-reliant relationship builder with solid experience in B2B sales and who thrives in a proactive and business-close role. You have clear business acumen and are motivated by creating profitable projects – both by developing existing contracts and through active new customer acquisition.

You work in a structured and results-oriented manner, with a consultative and solution-focused approach. You are skilled at understanding the customer's needs deeply and turning them into value-creating offers. At the same time, you are strong in follow-up and accustomed to driving processes all the way to closure.

As a person, you are curious, respectful, and generous with your knowledge. You enjoy being out with customers and building long-term relationships that create value – for both the customer and for Senab.

Additional qualifications if you have

  • Experience selling to the public sector
  • Knowledge of procurement, framework agreements, and contract customers
  • Experience with complex interior design projects or similar business setups
  • Ability to price, close deals, and create long-term business
