We are currently looking for an Orthotist/Prosthetist for a fixed-term position at our clinic in Huddinge. The department consists of approximately 25 employees with extensive experience working with all types of orthotic and prosthetic devices, as well as a shop targeting private customers and hospital staff. As an orthotic and prosthetic clinic, located centrally within Huddinge Hospital and with newly opened premises in Södertälje city center, we are a natural and highly sought-after partner in interdisciplinary clinics across many diagnostic areas. We have good relationships with other healthcare professions, and there are great opportunities to further develop these connections.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to receive patients, perform assessments, and prescribe devices. You will work with a variety of patient groups and orthotic/prosthetic devices. You are offered a varied role where the use of both traditional and modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily work. Our department treats many neurological patients, with a focus on EDS, tone disorders, and polio patients, as well as many diabetes, prosthetic, and acute care patients. Since we are located at Huddinge Hospital, we have extensive on-call duties and collaborate closely with medical wards. We are constantly working to develop our operations, whether it involves our product range or improving our processes, and you will be an active part of this development.

Who We Are Looking For

• Educated Orthotist/Prosthetist
• Proficient computer skills
• Good language skills in Swedish and English are preferred
• Previous clinical experience as an Orthotist/Prosthetist is an advantage

The Employment

Full-time, fixed-term position starting as agreed until 2027-08-31, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment. We have a collective agreement. The primary location is in Huddinge, but there is also an option to work in Södertälje if desired.
