About the position

We are currently seeking a personal assistant with coordination responsibilities for a lively 75-year-old woman living centrally in Hammarby Sjöstad. The position is part-time, 15 hours per week. Our client has a great interest in culture, food, sports, art, literature, and tending to her flowers on the balcony during the summer. The client has aphasia and apraxia following a stroke, which has resulted in difficulties expressing herself verbally. Duties include, among other things, walks, coffee breaks, various household chores, supporting during doctor's visits, exercise, grocery shopping, and cooking.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 10:30–18:00.

About you

We are looking for you who are experienced within care and social services and are now looking for the next challenge in the role of coordinator. You are calm and pedagogical as a person, with the strength to be able to convey information and maintain routines in a work group. You are strong in your communicative abilities and appreciate good collaboration with your colleagues.

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

In addition to the above, we believe that you who apply for this position are a person who is sensitive, responsible, and flexible. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

Requirements

  • Experience within personal assistance and/or care and social services.
  • Fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Non-smoker.
  • Not allergic to fur animals.

Merits

  • Calm and pedagogical as a person.
  • Completed care-related education.
  • Hold a B-driver's license for automatic transmission.
  • Experience working with people who have aphasia and/or apraxia, or other neurological functional variations after a stroke.

Scope: Part-time, 15 hours/week. Number of positions: 1. Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with this client, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
