About the assignment

The City of Helsingborg is seeking a consultant for the analysis, development, and implementation of a future solution for the Technical Handbook. The handbook is used for decision-making, planning, design, construction, as well as operation and maintenance of public spaces.

The current solution (WordPress) is perceived as difficult to navigate, with poor searchability and structure. The assignment aims to develop a more user-friendly, structured, and quality-assured solution.

Purpose

The new solution should:

• Make it easier to find relevant information
• Present rules and guidelines in a pedagogical manner
• Ensure long-term management
• Enable improved searchability via AI/automation

Assignment Description

The consultant will:

• Conduct a preliminary study and analysis
• Analyze user needs and information structure
• Evaluate the existing platform (further development or new solution)
• Propose and implement an AI/automation solution
• Ensure long-term management and easy updates
• Deliver a finished technical solution

Qualifications

• Experience with digital platforms and information structure
• Experience from the public sector
• Competence in UX/service design
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Competence level 2–3

Working hours: Full-time

Start date: Week 24–25 (June 8–21, 2026)

Duration: Up to 6 months from start date

Possibility of extension by an additional 3 months
