About the Role

As a Frontend Developer, you will work hands-on with frontend development while contributing to the team's technical direction, best practices, and working methods. You will help shape the future of digital platforms in a dynamic team.

You will join an established web development team within a larger IT organization. The team consists of approximately 10 people with expertise in Frontend, Backend, and DevOps, collaborating closely with UX and QA. Together, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of several CMS-based solutions that form the company's external web platforms.

The role combines hands-on development with the opportunity to influence architecture, technical choices, and how the team works. You are involved from idea to finished solution, and your work has a direct visible impact on a global user base.

Responsibilities

The role is broad and involves driving and developing our client's web platforms by contributing your expertise in frontend development, architecture, and innovation in both existing and future solutions. Examples of tasks include:

• Contribute to the technical direction of frontend development
• Develop and refine frontend architecture, tools, and best practices
• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems
• Ensure solutions are fast, accessible, modern, and secure
• Collaborate closely with UX, design, product owners, and backend teams
• Be an active part of an ongoing modernization journey

Who We Are Looking For

• At least 2–5 years of work experience in frontend development and modern tools
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Knowledge of Vite and Webpack
• Experience with headless architectures
• Good knowledge of Git
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with Drupal and Twig
• Experience with PHP and MySQL
• Experience with Open Source tools such as Nginx and NPM
• Agile work experience, e.g., according to Scrum
• Personal projects or contributions to open source
