As a software tester in flight technology, you will analyze advanced test protocols and ensure that future flight systems meet the highest safety requirements, while becoming part of a young and driving team.

About the role

We are looking for a software tester for the flight technology section. The role involves working with verification and review of software tests at an air-critical level. The work mainly consists of analyzing and reviewing more or less extensive test protocols and documentation to ensure that software functions and systems meet high safety requirements. You will work with cascades – step-by-step test flows from individual units to complete systems – and contribute to the development of future aircraft. This is a responsible job where precision and a solution-oriented ability are crucial, and where you get to contribute to the development of new aircraft concepts.

The team

The work group is a young team of approximately 20 people, many of whom are recent graduates and at the beginning of their careers. Here there are great opportunities to develop and contribute to future fighter aircraft. You start in the section with a focus on software testing – an important part of the work with advanced flight systems. Here innovation and safety are combined, and you become part of a team that shapes the next generation of aircraft.

We are looking for you with...

• University degree/Civil Engineer degree in computer science, systems science, or another related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Approved degree.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

The assignment is security classified. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to current security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Meritorious

• Previous experience working with software testing or as a software developer.
• Experience from safety-critical environments and familiarity with working with extensive documentation.
• Previous work experience.
