We are now looking for an engaged and matching-focused counselor with extensive local knowledge of the labor market in the Västerås area. The business community is a natural partner where you will play a key role in building networks and contributing to the competence supply of the local labor market. Our goal is to be the obvious choice for employers; finding the right match between employers and job seekers is the key to our mission.

In the role of counselor (job coach), you will guide and coach job seekers on their individual journey towards work or studies. This will be done within the framework of the Swedish Public Employment Service's (Arbetsförmedlingen) procured matching service, "Rusta och Matcha." To thrive in this role, you need to be relationship-building and motivated by meeting people in a process of change. The work places high demands on documentation, and you must be able to structure and work methodically based on set goals and results.

Previous experience with any of the Swedish Public Employment Service's matching services is an advantage. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability in this recruitment.

Qualifications

Option 1

Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).

Work Experience: At least two (2) years of full-time work experience. Part-time work is also accepted if the combined working hours equal full-time over two (2) years.

Option 2

Education: At least one (1) year of full-time post-secondary studies with at least a passing grade. Post-secondary education includes university education as well as various types of vocational training, such as qualified vocational training, university college education, military training, and police training.

Work Experience: At least three (3) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following professions or tasks:

• Work leadership with personnel responsibility
• Recruitment
• Transition work for job seekers
• Study and career guidance
• Processing of personnel matters (not only personnel administration)
• Work with labor market and employment issues
• Work with social and group psychology
• Career guidance

Part-time work is also accepted if the combined working hours equal full-time over three (3) years.
