About the role:

We are a manufacturing company specializing in machining. Together with our sister company, we have approximately 50 employees.

You will be responsible for technical preparation of new products involving turning, grinding, and milling, as well as purchasing tools. You will work closely with the production manager, planners, and operators. Since we are a small organization, the role involves a lot of hands-on work.

You will be part of a group of three people with partially overlapping responsibilities. In a small company, it is common to support each other with various tasks.

There is frequent contact with suppliers and customers to resolve issues and clarify requirements for the products we manufacture.

The Production Planner is responsible for the main planning of the company's production groups to ensure our goals are met, while you are responsible for the technical aspect of this flow. The position is varied and engaging, involving continuous collaboration with sales, purchasing, and production. You will share responsibilities with a colleague to ensure prerequisites for a smooth and efficient use of purchasing and production flows, enabling the business to deliver according to commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preparations in our business system, Monitor.
  • Item preparation, inventory control, and optimization.
  • Participate in process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Purchasing and requisitioning.
  • Attend planning meetings.
  • Support operators during the startup of new items.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has several years of experience in technical preparation within the manufacturing industry, along with relevant education (experience as a CNC operator is a plus).
  • Is proficient in using business systems and the Office package.
  • Wants to work in a key role, has strong collaboration skills, and thrives in a developing business environment.
  • Communicates fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
