About the Role
As an Operational Buyer, your focus is clearly on daily operational purchasing, with an emphasis on material control. You are responsible for setting up articles in the business system, working with parameter settings, and ensuring that the order flow functions efficiently from need to delivery.
You maintain close dialogue with several internal functions, primarily designers, production, and warehouse staff, where you identify needs, follow up on missing items, and ensure that deliveries proceed as planned. The role requires a good understanding of both flows and materials.
This is a role for you if you thrive in a broad purchasing function where you work independently, take responsibility for your processes, and contribute to creating structure and stability in daily purchasing operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for purchasing both direct and indirect materials such as concrete, wood, steel, and electronics, as well as related services.
- Set up and maintain articles, and handle deliveries, discrepancies, returns, and claims to ensure a functioning material flow.
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with designers, production, and warehouse staff to ensure material availability and support the company's needs.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a few years of experience in purchasing, preferably within manufacturing industry.
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.
- Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
Merits
- A post-secondary education in economics and/or logistics.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
