At WeStaff Sweden, we are currently looking for a Production Manager for Northern Stockholm to join a world-leading technology company that develops top-class infrared cameras and sensor systems. At the client company, you will combine advanced technology with micro-scale craftsmanship, helping to create products used globally, from rescue services and research to defense and industry.

About the Role

As a Production Manager, you are responsible for the operational management of a production section. You lead, plan, and prioritize the daily work of your team, ensuring that production meets set goals and actively working on improvements in both processes and workflows.

You collaborate closely with colleagues in quality, planning, and engineering, contributing to an efficient, safe, and pleasant work environment. The role requires floor presence, clear communication, and a coaching leadership style.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute the daily work for approximately 12 employees
• Monitor production results and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure that routines, quality requirements, and safety regulations are followed
• Participate in planning, resource allocation, and daily management
• Drive and support improvement work within production and working methods
• Contribute to a culture characterized by engagement, responsibility, and team spirit

We would like you to have:

• A few years of experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial operations
• Experience in operational leadership, preferably as a team leader, shift leader, or production manager
• Be structured, communicative, and thrive in a practical and technically oriented environment
• A technical educational background (upper secondary, vocational, or university level)
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience with Lean work, improvement projects, or leadership in cross-functional environments is considered an asset.

Additional Qualifications (Plus):

• Experience working in cleanrooms or high-tech environments
• Previous work with polishing or processing of lenses
• Experience with programming or CNC machines
• Technical education or relevant professional experience in production
• Experience with optical measuring instruments and inspection equipment
