About the position

The employer is a woman in her 40s with ALS. She lives in an apartment with her two cats in central Nykvarn. She is non-verbal and uses an eye-controlled computer to communicate.

A large part of her time is spent on rehabilitation, watching sports, and spending time with her son. Therefore, sharing her interest in sports (especially football!) would be a bonus, but it is not a requirement.

The job as an assistant is to be her extended arms and legs, but it is very important to understand that you are working as a team. Therefore, interpersonal chemistry is extremely important for the collaboration to run smoothly. You work alone during your shifts, but it is important to have a team spirit as you may need to cover for your colleagues during both planned and unplanned absences.

Who are you?

You are a woman who is social, cheerful, and positive. You are meticulous, responsible, and structured, and have the ability to listen to others and understand your role in a family situation. It is also important that you are honest, enjoy working, and have the ability to create a positive atmosphere around you. You should like children as they live in the home. You must not have fur allergies, as there are cats in the home. It is important that you do not have back problems, as there is a fair amount of lifting and moving involved.

You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to put yourself in another person's situation and be very perceptive. It is important that you understand that you have a supporting role and that your employer, who has personal assistance, is the main focus.

Working hours and degree of employment:

We are looking for people who can step in when there are vacancies, for times during the day, evening, but also during the night (awake night shifts).

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
