We are now looking for an Industrialization Engineer who wants to take a key role in developing, streamlining, and future-proofing internal logistics flows in line with increasing production volumes.

About the role:

The client's warehouse operations are facing a number of challenges ahead as production volumes increase. We are therefore looking for an Industrialization Engineer on their behalf, with experience in internal logistics development, who wants to contribute to future-proofing their flows and processes. As an Industrialization Engineer, you will play a central role in developing and streamlining internal logistics, as well as driving improvements.

The work will include, among other things:

  • Analysis and improvement of logistics flows – Mapping processes, identifying bottlenecks, and driving cost-effective improvements in warehousing, receiving control, and internal flows.
  • Development and standardization – Ensuring continuous improvements through new working methods, methods, and standards.
  • Project management – Plan, lead, and drive change and development projects within logistics. The work includes preliminary studies, preparation of investment proposals, and ensuring progress towards set goals.
  • Digitalization and system support – Implement and optimize digital tools and business systems to improve and automate logistics.
  • Data analysis and decision support – Collect and analyze data and key figures to measure and improve logistics processes.
  • Training – Conduct internal training and presentations.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and industrialization – Work together with suppliers, production, and other sites (primarily Gothenburg and Huskvarna) to develop sustainable and efficient logistics solutions.
We are looking for you who:
  • Have a university or civil engineering degree in, for example, mechanical engineering or industrial economics
  • Have 3-5 years of experience working in production or manufacturing industry with a focus on internal logistics
  • Have experience in Lean and improvement work – you are accustomed to working with continuous improvements, eliminating waste, and creating efficient flows
  • Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

Merits:

  • Warehouse automation – Knowledge of automated warehouse systems and material handling of internal flows
  • Process standardization – Experience in developing and introducing common working methods, routines, and standards within logistics.

To thrive in the role, we see that you are a responsible and engaged person who enjoys taking initiative and driving the work forward. You have natural self-leadership and can prioritize and structure your work even when the pace is high. At the same time, you are flexible and adaptable when conditions change, and see opportunities where others see obstacles. You appreciate collaborating with others and are receptive, which allows you to quickly build trust in your interactions with colleagues and other functions within the business.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where the customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
