About Us
Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international rehabilitation center. We help patients with acquired and congenital spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and neurological conditions and diseases. We also offer personal assistance. We are located in a large, beautiful building in Frösundavik, Solna, combining old barracks premises with new living rooms, treatment rooms, and a restaurant. We have extensive research and educational activities, as well as well-developed teamwork. We also have a clinic focusing on MS in Liljeholmen. Aleris Rehab Station is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care wards, Basic Home Healthcare, and Uppsala Urgent Care.
The Role
We are looking for a personal assistant for a man in his 50s who uses a wheelchair and has a spinal cord injury. As a personal assistant, your duties will include supporting and helping him with his daily life, such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, assisting with meals, cleaning, and accompanying him to activities. The client speaks for himself and has two teenagers who stay with him every other week. Working hours are scheduled during the day between 07:00-16:00, evenings between 15:00-23:00, and awake nights between 23:00-09:00. We are currently primarily seeking an assistant who can work day and evening shifts, as well as every other weekend.

About You
We are looking for someone who is structured, orderly, loyal, and responsive. You also value providing high-quality care and service. Through your engagement, professional attitude, and communication skills, you build good relationships with the client and your colleagues, making you a valuable team member. It is important that you act with common sense and have a strong customer focus. You need to have a well-developed sense of tact and understand when to be active and when to be passive in your work.
Background You are a person with a strong interest in working with people. This role requires previous experience working as a personal assistant and/or within healthcare and social care. The requirement for this position is that you are proficient in both English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Employment Conditions Employment type: Hourly contract, fixed schedule. Scope: Part-time, Day/Evening shifts and every other weekend. Start date: Immediately. Salary: Individual salary setting. Collective agreement applies.
