About the role
Knowit Cybersecurity & Law is the most exciting specialist company in the Nordics within IT and Information Security as well as digitalization law. At the Linköping office, you will often work across boundaries in teams consisting of lawyers, IT specialists, and security protection specialists to deliver holistic solutions to customers ranging from finance to energy and the public sector. As an Information Security Specialist, you will be part of the journey to strengthen information security in both the public and private sectors, many of which handle security-sensitive operations. You will manage customer contacts and drive assignments by planning, executing, and reporting your results in complex customer environments. We are looking for you who have a strong inner drive and thrive in an expert role. You have good stylistic skills and can translate complex analyses into clear reports and advice. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and socially skilled. You possess high consultative maturity, meaning you are confident in meeting customers at various levels and have the ability to build trust.

Responsibilities
In the role of Information Security Specialist, you will step directly into a consulting role with significant personal responsibility. You will independently, or together with your team, drive projects that enhance customer security. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining governing documents such as policies, guidelines, and procedures within information security.
- Conducting risk and vulnerability analyses as well as gap analyses to identify and prioritize security measures.
- Leading workshops and acting as an advisor regarding relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and MCF guidelines.
- Supporting customers in incident management and contributing to developing their ability to prevent and handle security incidents.
- Planning and conducting training and information campaigns.
We are looking for someone who has
- Several years of experience in information security.
- Documented experience in driving projects and conducting workshops/analyses.
- Good knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2, and MCF guidelines).
- A university degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
- Experience from the consulting industry.

For this role, it is an advantage to have Swedish citizenship as many of our clients are subject to the Security Protection Act.
