Multiply Teknik & IT AB is growing and is now looking for Systems Engineers within the defense industry.

Multiply is a Stockholm-based company with continued expansion in Västmanland and surrounding regions.

You will work with one of Sweden's leading players in the defense and security industry, such as SAAB or related operations, where advanced technical systems are developed in a project-driven and high-tech environment.

About the Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will become a central part of the development of complex technical systems – from early concept studies to verified and delivered products. The role entails overall responsibility for the system's lifecycle, where you work with requirements definition, system architecture, integration, as well as verification and validation.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and includes dialogue with internal stakeholders, customers (e.g., FM and FMV), and international partners.

Depending on the assignment, the role may also include systems security, where the focus is on risk identification, analysis, and implementation of safe and robust solutions according to high requirements and standards (e.g., MIL).

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and breakdown of user needs into technical specifications
• Development of system architecture and design for complex systems
• Interface management (ICD) between systems, subsystems, and external networks
• Ensuring that systems meet requirements regarding function, safety, and reliability
• Planning and execution of verification and validation (V&V)
• Risk management through analyses such as FMEA, fault tree analysis, and reliability studies
• Development of system security plans and technical documentation
• Participation in technical reviews and project walkthroughs

We are looking for someone who has

• A degree in engineering or equivalent technical background
• At least 5 years of experience working with complex technical systems
• Experience in systems engineering work such as requirements management, architecture, and integration
• Understanding of how mechanics, electronics, and software interact in system solutions
• Experience working in project form and in technically complex environments
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written (required)
• Swedish citizenship (required)
• Cleared security clearance (required)
• You work in a structured manner and have strong analytical skills.
• You are self-motivated, take initiative, and have a holistic perspective in your technical work.

Meritorious

• Experience from the defense, aviation, or safety-critical industry
• Experience with systems security and risk analysis
• Experience working with FM/FMV or according to military standards
• Experience in technical project management
• Experience in verification, testing, and integration work
