Assistans 24/7 is an assistance company that provides personal assistance for children, young people, and adults. The company has extensive experience in personal assistance and places great emphasis on security, knowledge, and accessibility. Assistans 24/7 has a permit from IVO (The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare) and a collective agreement for its employees. The company also offers training and support to ensure that staff have good conditions for providing proper care and service.

We are currently looking for a full-time personal assistant for an 18-year-old girl in Norrköping. She has extensive care needs and lives at home with her parents and siblings. You will work closely with her in daily life and be an important support both at home and during activities outside the home.

She can walk on her own but uses a wheelchair as an aid during outings, longer walks, and trips. She communicates using a few words, but primarily through body language, picture support, and by pointing and showing. Therefore, it is important that you are sensitive, attentive, and able to read her needs.

As a personal assistant, you will among other things:

• Support her in daily life according to her needs.
• Accompany her to activities, outings, and swimming.
• Use picture support and body language in communication.
• Accompany her on trips within Sweden and abroad during school holidays.
• Work closely with the family and contribute to a secure daily life.

You are responsible for providing secure, respectful, and personal support. The role requires that you can stay one step ahead and quickly understand what is needed in different situations. She is usually happy, active, and has a lot of energy. Therefore, you need to be energetic, strong, and confident in keeping up with her pace.

Desired profile:

• 2–4 years of experience as a personal assistant.
• Experience working in a family home.
• Fluent in Swedish (speaking and writing).
• Arabic speaking.
• Swimming proficiency.

We are looking for someone who:

Is sensitive and attentive; because you need to be able to read needs and understand what is required before situations arise.

Is active and has good energy; because you need to be able to participate in swimming, outings, and other activities.

Collaborates easily with the family; because the work takes place in the user's home and close to her relatives.

Advantageous if you:

• Have a B-driver's license.
• Have experience with clear pedagogy or similar working methods.

Other:

Start: According to agreement.

Working hours: Schedule Monday to Friday, mainly afternoon and evening. Occasional nights and weekends may occur according to agreement.

Location: Norrköping.

Employment type: Full-time, 100%. Employment according to agreement.

Salary: Fixed monthly, weekly, or hourly wage.
