Swede Ship has a long tradition in shipbuilding, and one of our yards – Djupviks Varv – has been building vessels since the 1890s. Deliveries to the Coast Guard and the Navy started as early as 1937, aluminum welding was introduced in 1950, and composite material manufacturing began in 1979.

Information about the position
Together with Swede Ship Composite in Hunnebostrand, we are now looking for a Foreman/Team Leader who enjoys practical work. This is a direct recruitment position, meaning that the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, but you will be employed directly by Swede Ship Composite. About the role
As a Foreman/Team Leader at Swede Ship Composite, you will drive projects from start to finish, with varying project scopes. You will work operationally and closely with your team, combining overall responsibility with hands-on work. In this role, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of projects. You maintain continuous contact with customers, coordinate the work, and ensure that projects are carried out according to set quality requirements and timeframes. As a Foreman/Team Leader, you have internal administrative support, which gives you the opportunity to focus on the projects and the practical work.
Examples of your tasks include:
- Leading and driving projects forward according to schedule
- Planning and distributing work in production
- Being present in the operations and supporting the team
- Ensuring that materials, resources, and proper conditions are available
- Maintaining continuous customer contact
- Being responsible for the overall project scope, including planning, execution, and post-control
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are driven, communicative, and responsible, with a good ability to create structure and engagement in the team. You thrive in a practical role and are happy to contribute personally to the operational work. Furthermore, you are confident in a leadership role where you drive the work forward together with your team.
We are looking for you who have
- Experience in team leadership, preferably within the construction industry, manufacturing industry, or similar
- Good ability to read and understand drawings
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Previous experience working with composites or boats is meritorious for the position. Speaking Polish is also meritorious, but not a requirement.
START: According to agreement
SCOPE: Full-time, 07:00-16:00
