We are now looking for a Group Manager for the Herrgårdsvägen group home. We offer leadership programs and several benefits.
The Herrgårdsvägen residence has six places for residents of different ages, placed from social psychiatry in Danderyd Municipality. The operations are housed in a large villa located in Danderyd, approximately 1.5 km from Mörby Centrum. There is a bus stop approximately 250 meters from the facility, taking you to Mörby Centrum, close to shopping and the subway. The residence consists of six apartments, common areas, a shared kitchen where staff prepare dinner for communal meals, a laundry room, a staff room, a duty room, and additional laundry facilities. It is located in a quiet villa area with its own large balcony and garden.
This is a relatively new work group. The work group is small and consists of five residential support workers. It is an exciting target group with high integrity, where we greatly respect the individual's right to determine their own life, while we work with support and motivation.
About the role
As a Group Manager, you work both in operations and administratively. You work daytime weekdays, weekends, and on-call shifts with overnight duty in the facility. This means you are a role model for your colleagues and, through your strong engagement, create a good work climate in the group every day. You provide the conditions for your work group to maintain good relationships with the facility's clients and relatives. You do this by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality-assuring the operations in accordance with Nytida's pedagogical framework. As Group Manager, you report to the Operations Manager.
Active leadership
To succeed as a manager and leader with us, active leadership is required, based on our values. Therefore, we train all managers through our own training department, Läras leadership program. We want leadership that creates motivation and engagement among our employees.
It is natural that you, as a Group Manager, live our values:
Respect – Everyone has the right to a dignified life with physical, mental, and social well-being.
Responsibility – We have employees who dare and want to, and managers who listen and lead.
Simplicity – It is easy to influence and to be an employee or to live and stay with us.
Knowledge – We reflect, learn from each other, and utilize everyone's competence.
Your experience and knowledge
You have post-secondary or university education in care and nursing, as well as experience with the target group. You speak and write fluent Swedish. It is of great importance that you have knowledge and experience of various forms of cognitive support, low-affective approach, and experience of personnel management.
Since your role will involve coaching employees in both the daily work with our residents and in administrative work, it is a requirement that you have good ability and competence for documentation, with special emphasis on a good ability to write implementation plans.
You have a clear leadership personality and enjoy seeing people in your group grow and develop in their professional roles. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and cooperative. You have the will and ability to steer and follow up on operations based on the company's goals and economic frameworks. You are initiative-taking and sensitive to the care recipient's needs and feel a natural respect for other people. For us, coaching leadership is our most important starting point for a secure, stable, and growing work group.
At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
