We are now looking for two residential support workers for our team at Sörlidsbacken. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! The positions are 50% and 60%.
About Sörlidsbacken
At our newly built, modern service housing Sörlidsbacken, we want you, who have a diagnosis within the autism spectrum or an intellectual disability, to be able to live as independent and good a life as possible.
The residence is a detached house in three stories plus a basement. Each floor has three apartments consisting of 1 or 2 rooms and a kitchen, totaling approximately 35 square meters. The basement contains a large common area with an open plan layout including a kitchen, dining area, and living room section. The three floors are accessed via elevator and stairwell.
The house is surrounded by a garden and there is a common outdoor area. Free parking is available outside the house. A bus stop is located about 300 meters away, where you can easily take the subway to Rissne or the commuter train to Spånga. It is just over a kilometer walk to Rissne Center. Here you will find a sports field, grocery store, pharmacy, pizzeria, etc. From Sörlidsbacken, it is also close to the beautiful hiking areas in Ursvik.
About the role
In the role of residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work with the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.
Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
You have a team leader or group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge
You who apply have a high school education in care and nursing or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and you always have our users' best interests as your starting point in everything you do.
At Nytida, we are constantly developing. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
What you get with us:
- Basic training when you are hired permanently at Nytida, as well as competence development through our own training organization, Lära
