Nytida's specialized outpatient care is now looking for a child and adolescent psychiatrist to conduct assessments and participate in a multidisciplinary team. The position is currently a fixed-term employment, which is regularly evaluated based on demand and needs.
About the role
You will be part of our multidisciplinary team, which currently consists of adult psychiatrists, therapists, sexologists, social workers, therapists, and nurses. Your role will be to complement our team with expertise in assessments for Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD/NPF) and Intellectual Disability (ID) for children and young people. You will contribute your medical knowledge to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. We follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's recommendations for quality assurance, particularly regarding NDD assessments, as these are crucial for ensuring correct diagnoses and adequate support measures.
The work includes:
- Assessments for neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities.
- Medical assessment and differential diagnosis.
- Collaboration with relevant parties in the case.
- Participation in treatment conferences as needed.
- Some flexibility as cases come in continuously.
About Nytida's specialized outpatient care
We are a large work group that distributes its time across various assignments and cases. You will belong to a smaller team handling cases with complexity that requires multiple professions to collaborate and provide the right support to the patient/client. You will collaborate with a competent and driven group that sees opportunities and solutions to meet the requests we receive. We operate from our office and assessment premises on Kärleksgatan in Malmö, right in the center at Davidshallstorg. It is a beautiful space with high ceilings and good natural light.
