The Social Services Administration is seeking summer substitute staff for home care, residential care, functional support, personal assistance, and social psychiatry. We offer the opportunity to start working immediately, but primarily over the summer. As a summer substitute, you will work according to a schedule covering days, evenings, nights/on-call nights, and weekends. The work requires great flexibility, teamwork skills, and a sense of responsibility.

The Social Services Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of the social services' mandate, various legislations, and based on the Social Services Administration's value base. This may involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, social assistance, or help with substance abuse problems.

DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest and commitment to people. As a person, you should be secure and responsible, have a positive attitude, and see it as a matter of course to contribute to a positive work climate.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age at the start of employment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Merits

  • Upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on the Care and Nursing program or the Child and Leisure program
  • Category B driver's license
  • Previous experience from similar work
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and nights.

Employment type: Summer job / Vacation work.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.

Register Check

To work in user- and patient-facing roles, you must provide a certificate of good conduct from the police's criminal record register. You must request the certificate yourself from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record Register" in the form archive from the police's website.

Probationary employment may occur.

Karlskoga Municipality is part of a Swedish-speaking administrative area and therefore has a responsibility to safeguard the position of the Swedish language. This means, among other things, that we must offer preschool activities and elderly care in Swedish.
