Christinagymnasiet is located in modern premises on Lidingö with good transport connections. We are a small school with approximately 160 students on the Economics Programme, where the sense of community is strong and everyone knows each other, both students and staff. About the Role

As a school counselor here, you will become a central part of the school's student health work. You will collaborate closely with students, teachers, and the student health team to create the best possible conditions for learning, well-being, and goal achievement.

Start: August 10, 2026
Scope: 50 %

Your Responsibilities

In the role of school counselor, you contribute a social and psychosocial perspective to the school's pedagogical work. You work both preventively and health-promotingly at both individual and group levels, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive study environment.

You will, among other things:

• collaborate with the student health team and the school's educators
• keep the student's needs at the center and value the meeting with both students and guardians
• contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
• actively participate in the school's development work and contribute ideas
• organize and structure your work independently
• handle unforeseen situations with confidence and professionalism
• work in a team and contribute to good collaboration

We are looking for someone who

• has relevant education in social work, such as a degree in social work
• has a professional and empathetic approach in conversations with young people
• has a holistic view of the student's situation and the ability to see connections between learning and well-being
• is confident in your professional role and can work both independently and in close collaboration with teachers and school management
• has good communication skills and is easy to build trusting relationships
