Sörmlands Gräv & Transport is an established contracting company in Nyköping offering comprehensive solutions within earthworks, construction, and transport. The company has been in operation since 2000 and has grown to approximately 31 employees, carrying out assignments in Nyköping and the surrounding area.

The operations include earthworks and construction projects, transport, and contracting services for businesses, the public sector, and other professional clients. The fleet consists of excavators, wheel loaders, crane trucks, and dump trucks in various sizes. Sörmlands Gräv & Transport is part of Alltransport and a member of Maskinentreprenörerna (Swedish Contractors Association), with a strong focus on safety, order, and professional execution at every level.

About the Role

As a wheeled excavator operator, you will become an important part of the daily production work. The role is broad and practical, with responsibility for both machine operation and execution in earthworks and construction projects.

Duties include among other things:

• Operating wheeled excavators in production
• Excavation and fine grading work
• Trenching for pipes and cables
• Foundation work and construction tasks
• Work with L-supports and other ground structures
• GPS and machine control in daily operations
• Self-control and quality work in production
• Collaboration with tradespeople, foremen, and clients

The role requires both independence and teamwork skills. This is not a job where you stay in the machine all day. When needed, you get out, help out, and ensure the team moves forward.

We are looking for you who

Are an experienced operator with good experience of wheeled excavators and machine control in active production. You work independently, take responsibility for both the machine and the work result, and have a working style characterized by order, quality, and professional pride.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, confident, and unpretentious. You function well in a team, contribute to good collaboration, and understand the value of helping out where needed. You are accustomed to representing the employer on-site with clients and see it as a given to behave professionally.

Requirements

• Documented preliminary license for excavators
• Category B driver's license
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Experience with wheeled excavators in production
• Experience with GPS and machine control in daily work

Merits

• Category BE driver's license
• Experience with earthworks and construction projects in a contracting environment
