Your Role as Foreman

As a foreman with us, you have an operational and varied role where you lead operations and construction work in Eskilstuna and the surrounding area. You are present daily in production, planning, directing, and following up on work together with skilled workers and subcontractors, in close collaboration with the site manager. The role also includes customer contacts, business decisions, and contributing to the progress of projects.

Readiness is a central part of the assignment year-round, with winter road maintenance being a significant component. During the winter period, you lead work in critical situations and coordinate efforts during snowfall and icy conditions to ensure safe and passable roads around the clock.

You will become a key person in the development of operations in the area and will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence working methods, customer relations, and local routines. The role involves foremanship without formal personnel responsibility, production-oriented working hours, and on-call duties.

Start date as agreed, preferably in August. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in foremanship within production, preferably from construction, contracting, or similar environments. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are flexible, and drive work forward even when conditions change.

You are communicative, confident, and relationship-building with a natural customer focus. You act in a business-like manner, see opportunities, and build long-term collaborations. You work systematically, are computer literate, and enjoy a daily routine where planning, administration, and production interact.

We place great emphasis on you being driven, proactive, and taking responsibility to get things done.

To be considered for the role, you should also have:

• Experience in a foremanship role, preferably within construction work

• Practical experience from construction work or similar operations

• Good computer skills and an interest in digital working methods and processes

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Courses such as APV, EBR/ESA, Safe Excavation, HPV

• Experience in readiness work or other forms of operational readiness

• Worked in assignments with varying projects and own planning

• Experience in cost estimation within construction or contracting
