About the Company
GJ Maskin AB is a family-owned full-service company founded as early as 1972. We have an annual turnover of approx. 300 MSEK and currently employ 50 people with low staff turnover and a strong, family-oriented culture. We work with the sale, rental, and service of machinery for: • Agriculture • Forestry • Construction • Grounds maintenance • Material handling (forklifts) We have our own facilities in Falköping, Skövde, Lidköping, and Ulricehamn, and our customers range from smaller industries and wholesalers to farms and retail. GJ Maskin AB is now looking for a business-driven and relationship-building Forklift Salesperson who wants to take overall responsibility for developing our forklift business in the Skaraborg region. This is a role for you who enjoys working out in the field with customers, loves new customer acquisition, and wants to build something long-term. A role with great freedom under responsibility.
Job Description
As a Forklift Salesperson with us, you drive the entire business, from first contact to closing and delivery. Your main focus is new customer acquisition, where you actively prospect, book meetings, and create new business opportunities. Your responsibilities: • Drive proactive sales and actively process new customers • Lead the business all the way: needs analysis, quote, negotiation, and closing • Build long-term relationships at both operational and strategic levels • Advise customers on the right forklift and machine solutions • Work systematically in CRM with pipeline, follow-up, and forecasts • Conduct viewings and demo drives • Be responsible for your own machine inventory • Collaborate closely with the service team and aftermarket for the best customer experience Approximately 60% of your time is spent out with customers, and the remaining time you work systematically with follow-ups, quote preparation, and planning. You will become a key person in developing and growing the forklift business, and the role involves responsibility for both budget and results.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are self-motivated, business-driven, and fearless in customer dialogue. You thrive on making contact, creating new relationships, and driving deals all the way to completion. Requirements • Experience in proactive B2B sales • Business-minded, relationship-building, and results-oriented • Independent, structured, and proactive • Good system proficiency and experience with CRM • Swedish and English communication skills • Valid driver's license (Category B) Merits: • Experience from machinery, forklift, vehicle, or industrial sales • Technical understanding or strong technical interest • Post-secondary education in sales or technology Above all, we are looking for the right person, with drive, ambition, and a willingness to learn and develop.
