Do you want to work in a stable operation with a strong local presence and a growing project portfolio? We are now looking for a fitter for an established company in Bålsta that delivers and assembles steel and aluminum structures for construction projects in the Stockholm area.

About the role

As a fitter, you work on projects around Stockholm. You are always part of a team – at least two people per project – and are responsible for ensuring that assembly is carried out correctly, safely, and according to current standards.

The work is based in Bålsta, but 99% of the projects are located in Stockholm, and you can start your day from home.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of steel structures at customer sites
• Participation in projects of varying size and complexity
• Ensuring that work follows current quality and safety requirements (European standard)
• Close collaboration with colleagues and production management
• Performing minor service and adjustment work as needed

This is a practical and varied role where no week is like the other. Service vehicles are provided, and you can start your workday from home.

Depending on your experience and background, you will initially work alongside experienced fitters. An individual introduction plan is created to ensure you get started correctly.

Requirements

• Experience as a fitter, preferably with major customers in steel construction
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission is an advantage but not a requirement)
• NOTE! Background check is conducted upon employment

Merits

• Experience as a fitter in steel, metal, or building structures
• Proficiency in reading drawings and ability to work independently based on construction documents
• Valid welding license and experience with practical welding work

You are flexible and can handle weeks that may look different. Assembly may involve changes in planning, speed variations, and varying project environments. You handle this without losing focus or energy.

Finally, you are a team player with drive. You contribute a positive attitude even when tasks are not the most glamorous. You represent the company professionally at the customer site and understand the importance of good conduct, cooperation, and maintaining a high level in every aspect.

About our client

The company primarily works with larger players in construction and contracting, for example, projects related to commercial properties, industrial buildings, and public environments. Projects vary in size – from smaller service assignments to larger assemblies where teams of 20+ people collaborate on the construction site.
