ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for an engaged personal assistant for one of our clients in Sollentuna. We offer a temporary position where you step in as needed. We would appreciate it if you could start the introduction process as soon as possible.

Possible work shifts:

• We primarily look for someone available to work every other Saturday from 14:00-20:30.

• Additionally, shifts on weekends (08:00-14:00, 14:00-20:30) and weekdays (16:25-20:30) may occur.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a happy, playful, and active 12-year-old girl living in Sollentuna with her family. She has balance and coordination difficulties as well as autism, and communicates using gestures, sounds, pictures, and signs as support. As an assistant, you will support the user in daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal times, and developing communication. A central part of the role is to contribute to an active and meaningful life through activities the user enjoys, such as swimming, gymnastics, and playground play.

There is a dog in the home, so it is important that you are comfortable around dogs.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As a personal assistant for this assignment, a genuine interest in working with people is required. It is important to be attentive, responsible, patient, and positive. We are looking for someone who still has a childlike spirit, can stimulate play and learning, and engages in leisure interests such as swimming and sports. The role of personal assistant entails significant responsibility and requires respect for both the client's and the family's privacy. The client requests female assistants only.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language

• Non-smoker

• Experience working with autistic individuals

• Comfortable around animals/not afraid of dogs

PREFERABLE

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant to children

• Pedagogical skills

• Knowledge of TAKK (Signs as an Alternative and Augmentative Communication)

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both a certificate of no criminal record and a certificate from the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
