We are currently looking for a Data Center Technician for one of our clients.

About the role

As a Data Center Technician, you work close to the physical IT infrastructure and are responsible for ensuring that servers, networks, and peripheral equipment function stably, securely, and efficiently. The role involves both planned work and urgent interventions during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Installation and racking of servers, network equipment, and storage systems
• Routing and handling of fiber and copper cabling
• Patching and power supply work in rack environments
• Monitoring of operations, temperature, cooling, and energy consumption
• Troubleshooting and handling of incidents and alarms
• Preventive maintenance to minimize operational disruptions

Requirements

• Experience working in a data center or similar technical environment
• Practical experience with rack & stack and cabling
• Basic networking knowledge
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Ability to undergo and pass a background check
• Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)

Preferred qualifications

• Experience from large-scale data center environments
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows Server
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Relevant certifications
