RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Project and Construction Manager, you are responsible to the steering group, according to the current project organization, for ensuring that projects are carried out efficiently and with the right balance between time, function, quality, economy, and working environment. You ensure that projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and authority requirements. The role also includes reviewing and approving incoming invoices within assigned investment projects, as well as conducting procurements and ordering of consulting services and contracts. You may also be assigned other tasks by the department manager.

You are responsible for ensuring that systematic work environment activities are conducted in projects in accordance with work environment legislation and internal routines, as well as that risk assessments are carried out when necessary.

To succeed in this role, you are structured and have good prioritization skills. You thrive with many contact surfaces and collaborate effectively with both internal and external parties. Since the work involves planning and monitoring schedules, it is important that you can meet deadlines and drive projects forward toward set goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have previous experience as a Project and/or Construction Manager, or other relevant experience considered equivalent. Experience from work within municipal infrastructure is advantageous. The role also requires good knowledge and experience in financial monitoring and analysis.
