At Vår Omtanke, we are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work with one of our clients living in Jakobsberg, a 17-minute commute from Odenplan and a 10-minute walk from the station. About the client

The client is a woman in her 40s living in a villa in Jakobsberg with her husband and two dogs. She has a neurological disease that affects her muscle function and therefore needs an assistant who can be her arms and legs to help her daily life run smoothly. Tasks range from transfers and personal hygiene to household chores and training the dogs together with the client. She has a strong interest in environmental and societal issues, and her days are spent on daily tasks, caring for the dogs' health (e.g., brushing teeth, wiping paws, brushing fur, etc.), and training the dogs in everyday obedience.

It is important that you are:

• Female

• Humble

• Solution-oriented

• Fluent in written and spoken Swedish

• Interested in dogs and comfortable handling them.

• Experienced in managing a home and household

• 30 years of age or older

• Driver's license and access to a car are a plus but not a requirement

No previous experience working in healthcare is required. Personal chemistry is what will decide.

Working hours and part-time percentage:

The position is a substitute role during May–July on weekends and when regular assistants are absent, after which there is a permanent position of at least 50% for the right person. Shifts are scheduled 8:00–18:30 on weekdays and 9:00–16:00 on weekends. From August, there will be fixed shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays + weekends when you wish. Occasionally, we also need someone for evening hours and sometimes overnight with sleeping on-call duty. You cannot bring your dog to work. We are also looking for substitutes who can step in when regular assistants are absent and on weekends.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage within the range of 142–155 SEK/h + other benefits according to the collective agreement.
