As a Java Developer at our client in Norrköping, you will work with one of Sweden's most critical societal systems – where high performance, security, and availability are crucial. Your responsibilities
In the role of Java Developer, you work close to the product and become part of an experienced, cross-functional team that owns the entire development chain. You work with everything from architecture and development to testing, release, and further development.
The work involves building and improving features in systems that must be fast, robust, and reliable. You will contribute to continuous deliveries, participate in design decisions, and develop modern solutions together with testers, requirements analysts, and technical specialists.
The environment is characterized by DevOps thinking, high quality requirements, and a close connection to the business's actual needs. This is a role where your Java expertise has direct impact on systems used by many – around the clock.
Your profile

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Several years of experience in system development with Java
- Education in IT or equivalent experience
- Current experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
- Experience in frontend development
- Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious experience:
- Container environments, e.g., Docker/Kubernetes
- CI/CD and DevOps-oriented work, preferably with Jenkins
- JavaScript/TypeScript, e.g., React or Vite
- Search technology such as Elastic Search or Lucene-based indexes
- Linux
- Test-driven development, e.g., unit tests, integration tests, Spring Boot, Cucumber, or Cypress
- API development and work with integration components
Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
