NKT in Alingsås is looking for machine operators! Do you want to be part of our exciting journey towards green transformation as we develop and expand our operations in Alingsås? In the production facility in Alingsås, accessories for AC cables from 1 kV up to 420 kV, as well as accessories for HVDC cables, are manufactured. The manufacturing has been present in Alingsås since 1956 and has since served as a special factory for cable accessories used for safe and easy connection in distribution and transmission applications.

Job Description

As a machine operator, you will work in production manufacturing rubber parts. Your daily tasks will include monitoring processes on various machines, ensuring smooth production flow, and performing quality control. Working hours are scheduled for two shifts, but night shifts may also occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a technical education or experience in a similar role. It is important that you can work both independently and in a team. Other key qualities for the role are commitment, a willingness to learn, and a strong focus on quality. If you have an interest in mechanics and technology, it is a big plus for the position. Instructions may be given in both Swedish and English, so you need to handle both languages well. You are an engaged team player who is used to taking responsibility for your work and likes to take initiative. Requirements:

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Previous industrial experience
• Preferably a high school education from the electricity, technology, or industry program
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. German is a big plus
