Our client is a global industrial company specializing in the manufacturing, development, and delivery of advanced synchronous motors, generators, and synchronous condensers for industrial and energy-critical applications. As a Project Assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with project managers, production teams, and customers in a technically advanced environment. This role is ideal for you if you are graduating this year or have recently graduated, and wish to gain valuable work experience before continuing your studies, for example in engineering. Perhaps you have already tried something else for a period and are now ready for the next step.

You will become an integral part of a cohesive team where we support each other, share knowledge, and ensure that projects are delivered as planned. Here, you will get a broad insight into how large industrial projects are driven, from raw materials to finished products.

The role evolves over time as you grow into it. Initially, you will receive support and an introduction, and after a few months, you are expected to take increasing responsibility and drive tasks independently.

• Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects
• Follow up on the delivery of materials and components and report status
• Collaborate with internal functions, such as production and procurement, as well as external suppliers
• Ensure that delivery documentation is complete and correct
• Prepare materials for project meetings and reviews
• Update project data and handle simpler financial monitoring in business systems
• Contribute to developing and improving processes related to logistics and delivery
• Welcome and coordinate customer visits

We are looking for someone who is curious, driven, and wants to develop in a coordinating role. You enjoy taking responsibility and have a natural aptitude for creating structure in your work. You are communicative and confident in meeting different types of people, and have the ability to handle several parallel tasks. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented, take initiative, and have a professional demeanor. This role suits you if you thrive in a social environment with many contact points.

• High school diploma, preferably with a technical focus
• Interest in technology, project work, and industrial processes
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP or other business systems

Location: Västerås. Work is performed on-site during weekdays, primarily daytime hours, with evening work approximately once a week and weekend work occasionally once a month, depending on operational needs.

Scope: Full-time, 100% on-site.

Start Date: July or August, or as agreed.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment, consultancy assignment for 12 months with good opportunities for extension and transition to permanent employment with our client.
