About the role

Aluflex transforms customer ideas into finished solutions. Since 1987, they have marketed a wide range of mechanical automation products and automation solutions for the Scandinavian industry. Their partners include some of the market's best suppliers of high-quality automation products. The broad product range includes, among other things, Item aluminum profile systems, belt conveyors, pallet lines, workstation systems, and linear products such as guide rails and linear modules.

Thanks to competent employees, the market's best suppliers, and a large warehouse that enables fast deliveries, Aluflex works to ensure that the customer always gets the best possible solution to their problem. The company is located in Helsingborg, where approximately 40 people work in modern facilities in Berga.

To continue delivering the market's best service, Aluflex is now looking for a technical inside sales representative who wants to help realize these solutions. In the role of Inside Sales / CAD Drafter, you will become a central part of a tight-knit technical team of eight people. It is a varied role that serves as the crucial link between the customer's technical challenges and actual production. Here, you will have significant ownership and experience the satisfaction of following your projects all the way – from the first sketch on paper to the fully assembled delivery out in production.

Responsibilities

Workdays at Aluflex are characterized by great variety and technical problem-solving, with the main responsibilities including:

  • Providing internal and external support to the company's field sales representatives and customers.
  • Designing and developing technical solutions for customers using Aluflex aluminum profile systems and linear products.
  • Preparing quotation drawings.
  • Managing production preparation: Creating component lists, production drawings, and cutting lists in CAD.
  • Handling the registration and administration of incoming customer orders.
  • Providing technical support to customers via phone regarding the company's product range.

We are looking for someone who

Has "the technical eye" and a natural aptitude for how mechanics work. Perhaps you are the type who prefers to fix the motorcycle yourself rather than leaving it at the workshop, or you have a burning interest in how things are constructed and function in practice.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • A technical or industrial education, for example from high school or a university college.
  • A good ability to visualize technical solutions based on a sketch or description.
  • The ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Previous experience working in SolidWorks or similar CAD programs, although your technical understanding and attitude are more important.
