We are looking for an engaged and curious physiotherapist to join Samrehab in northern Kalmar County. Here, you will have the opportunity to be part of a competent and dedicated team in a practice that puts the patient's needs first.

You will work independently but also be a key part of multidisciplinary teams based on patient needs. Building new relationships and networks is a natural part of our work. The work takes place in both inpatient and outpatient care. On the medical ward, you will meet patients with neurological, heart, and lung diseases; many are multi-morbid. Outpatient rehabilitation focuses heavily on patients with neurological conditions and is always conducted within a team, collaborating with colleagues in primary care and the municipality when needed.

There are good opportunities to grow into your role as you have several experienced colleagues around you. You will be part of a working group responsible for all rehabilitation at the small hospital, offering variety and collaboration with other staff. This is tailored to your specific conditions, with good opportunities to customize solutions.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. You are driven, receptive, and have a strong commitment to rehabilitation. You are curious about developments in the rehabilitation field and preferably have experience and in-depth knowledge in neurology. It is important to us that you have an interest in team rehabilitation and see the importance of creating good conditions to support the patient in becoming as independent as possible and living a rich and active life. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Your future workplace

Healthcare is facing major challenges, and to meet these, we are systematically developing close care, where rehabilitation is a central part of the patient's care and treatment. In the development work and transition to close care, you, together with your team, will be an important resource. Good cooperation between the units of the basic organization plays a key role, as does cooperation with municipalities and primary care.

You will be part of a working group consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, nursing assistants, and dietitians, with close collaboration with other colleagues across different professions on the hospital's wards and units. The workplace is located at Oskarshamn Hospital, a local hospital with a strong focus on rehabilitation, fast decision-making processes, and close contacts between units. Services include emergency care, medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located near Oskarshamn center and close to the archipelago. If desired, we are happy to assist with information about housing.

Kalmar County Region offers all employees a 100% position. If you work part-time but wish to work full-time, an extension of the position may be offered at another workplace.
