We are looking for summer substitutes for the summer of 2026, as well as hourly substitutes starting immediately!

In care and social services, there are summer jobs for you who want to work closely with people and make a real difference. You will meet both elderly people and individuals with disabilities who need support, nursing care, and companionship. Working a summer job in care and social services will never be boring. Within our operations, you work according to routines, but since we always base our work on the users' needs, interests, and daily condition, tasks can vary from day to day. It can range from helping with personal care to taking a walk, joining an activity, painting nails, or playing games together. With us, you take personal responsibility while becoming part of a larger team with several other summer workers and experienced colleagues. We are here to provide you with knowledge, support, and a fun summer.

Work in Elderly Care

Besides being a companion and support during social activities like coffee breaks and walks, tasks in elderly care can involve helping with personal care and daily chores such as cleaning, preparing breakfast, and handling medication.

In a nursing home, several elderly people live in the same building but in their own rooms, where you and your colleagues work together to provide residents with support and help in their daily lives. In home care services, you provide support and help to people in their own homes; you travel to the user's home and perform the tasks approved in their care plan. A driver's license is often required for home care work, as you need to travel between different residences, but in some home care areas, there is an opportunity to walk or cycle.

Work with Individuals with Disabilities within LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Functional Impairments)

You can also work summer jobs with people of all ages who have psychological, physical, and intellectual functional variations. The work involves offering support in daily life based on the individual's needs, conditions, and wishes. This can include support with personal care, help with cooking and daily chores, or planning and participating in various leisure activities. Here, there is often freedom to structure the day according to the users' interests and wishes. In a group home/service apartment, several people live together or in the same building but in separate apartments. In personal assistance, you work instead in a person's own home. At our short-term care facility, you work with children and young people who have various functional variations and stay there for a limited period. The purpose may be for them to experience a change of environment or for relatives to get respite in their daily lives.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a great interest in working with people, where you in your role are independent, secure, and listen to others' needs and wishes. The work suits you if you can work irregular hours, are flexible, and enjoy collaborating. You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Since documentation is part of the job, you need to be able to handle digital tools.

It is an advantage if you have a care and social services education, child and youth education, or previous experience in the field, but it is not a requirement.

A B-driver's license is desirable for several of our roles.
