As a Project Engineer at Eltel, you will be entrusted with leading projects from the drawing board to the network being operational. As a Project Engineer at Eltel, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with Sweden's largest owner of optical networks. This means you will handle a complex environment where the network must always be operational, while documenting and planning according to the industry's most comprehensive standards. You will own your projects from start to finish, driving them from early design through the entire execution phase to production completion.

This role is security-classified, which means a security clearance check will take place later in the process.

Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you are the operational hub of the network, responsible from the first drawing to the finished facility. You drive the project's economy and progress, participate in coordination meetings, and resolve technical conflicts in the ground. You will work with, among other things:

• Technical Design: Detailed planning of fiber and ducting (underground/overhead) as well as creating review materials and model files in AutoCAD or Microstation
• Project Support & Planning: Creating work orders and instructions, handling material orders, resource booking, and coordinating planned outages
• Authority & External Contacts: Responsible for permits, TA plans, and dialogue with landowners, authorities, and subcontractors
• Quality Assurance: Leading kick-off meetings and ensuring high quality and delivery reliability throughout the project's lifecycle

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience working with Sweden's largest network owner and their specific documentation requirements
• Has good knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Communicates fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the language is used in daily work

It is meritorious if you have

• Knowledge of fiber construction, ducting, or low voltage
• Experience with AMA Code, TB texts, and different stages of documentation, such as inquiry and review up to construction drawings

Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are communicative in your approach, as you work with both internal and external contacts.
