About the role At Middlepoint, we are looking for a new star to join our office café, complete with an attached conference room, in Kista. As a barista, you will be responsible for the service at our office café. This is where office employees and visitors meet for a quick coffee, a good lunch, or a luxurious coffee break. The café is operated by Middlepoint together with the property owner Technopolis and offers not only delicious meals but also opportunities for meetings and conference bookings. This is no ordinary café; here you deliver fast-paced service and memorable meetings for conference guests – always with a smile and the guests in focus.

Responsibilities Your duties as a barista include serving coffee and selling lighter meals and snacks, as well as preparing items such as smoothies and pastries. You will also man the cash register, ensure hygiene standards, and act as the face of the business towards customers. You will receive conference guests and ensure that service remains top-notch. You will work in a team of two and report to our on-site Head of Service.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who loves working with people and has an interest in food and coffee. You feel at home in a café environment and have some prior experience in a similar role. We also believe that you are:

• Service-minded and love meeting new people
• Organized and structured in your work
• Enthusiastic about taking initiative and developing in your tasks
• Positive and unpretentious

This is a very fun and developmental role where you are welcome to take initiative regarding both the menu and work methods.

Employment Details

• Employment: Fixed-term employment until June 30, 2026
• Start: Immediately
• Working hours: 07:00–16:00
• The workplace is located in Kista.
