As a developer at Ticket, you will work alongside driven, humble, and highly skilled colleagues in product teams that develop the company's services and digital business. The role involves building new solutions, improving existing ones, and further developing systems connected to Ticket's e-commerce platform.
This is a role for you if you truly enjoy backend development and want to work close to technical challenges that actually matter. We handle billions of pricing calculations every day, with high demands on performance, availability, and response times at the millisecond level. At the same time, we have a development environment with high delivery capability and work according to principles aligned with DORA DevOps Elite, featuring fast and safe production deployments.
You will work in an organization with short decision paths, high change velocity, and significant mandate close to the business. Our teams and product owners have the mandate to act – and they do so. Here, there are no committees, central architecture functions, or other layers that slow down speed and execution. The teams decide their own technology choices, architecture, and how solutions are built. This allows for a quick transition from idea and decision to real impact in production.
At Ticket, we primarily work with Java, Spring Boot, AI, microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, and Vue.js. For this role, the focus is primarily on backend. We build, further develop, and operate our own platform, meaning you will get close to both the technology, the product, and the business. There is plenty of room for you if you want to take technical responsibility, drive improvements, and help raise the level, both in the solutions we build and in how we work together.
What we build also has a clear and inspiring connection to real people and genuine needs. We are part of realizing what for many is the best time of the year – the holiday trip. This means you are not just building technically advanced systems, but also a product that customers actually want to buy and that helps them all the way to their journey.
About youYou have a degree in computer science, systems science, civil engineering, or equivalent education, or alternatively, longer experience in professional-level development work. You have at least three years of experience in Java development, even if it is not your primary language. You are welcome to have broad experience with different languages and environments, but experience with Java and Spring is particularly advantageous.
You like to build efficient, robust, and scalable systems and thrive in teams where everyone takes responsibility for their own delivery and helps each other to become better. Here, you get great opportunities to lead and drive backend development in our environments, both through your own initiatives and as a technical sounding board for others. As a person, you appreciate being challenged by new technology and simply think coding is fun.
You see that AI has a clear place in modern development work and are accustomed to using Claude Code or similar tools as a natural part of how you develop. You enjoy discussing solutions, challenging ideas, and sharing your experience. You are driven by building good things together with other skilled people and are motivated by environments with high ambitions, great trust, and good opportunities to influence. You have good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
At TicketNaturally, you get six weeks of vacation, flexibility so that daily life works, the possibility to work partially from home, full occupational pension according to ITP, and nice travel benefits. Ticket is located in state-of-the-art premises in Sickla, just a few minutes from Slussen. For Ticket employees, there is parking outside the office.
At Ticket, we are proud to be a company with people from different backgrounds. We know that diversity not only makes us stronger, but also more innovative, and that different perspectives make us more creative. We strive to be an attractive workplace that is free from discrimination and gives equal opportunities for all.
As part of the recruitment process, you will take a personality test and a logical test so that we can make a fair and accurate assessment. It takes about 30 minutes in total. An objective selection process ensures that all candidates are assessed in the same way, based on characteristics relevant to the current position. Salary range can be communicated during the interview process, and background checks are conducted before employment.
