tt2 AB is looking for a Civil Engineer in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, or similar, to strengthen its team with new expertise.

About the Role

tt2 has developed a pioneering system for navigation in environments where GPS is unreliable. Examples include indoor environments, underground, or during electronic warfare. The system is software-based and designed to run on commercial hardware (e.g., smartphones). In this role, you will contribute to the further development of tt2's system in new application areas. You will lead the work of integrating tt2's navigation system onto new platforms, such as unmanned systems and drone applications.

You will become part of a small, highly qualified team of engineers where collaboration is close and individual responsibility is high. The tt2 system is used both in the civilian market and within the defense sector. This position will primarily be focused on the defense industry.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for integrating tt2's navigation system onto new platforms, with a special focus on drones and unmanned systems. The work is varied and spans both software development for embedded systems and practical hardware integration. You will drive the development process from prototype to finished solution in close collaboration with the team, with the main focus on projects within the defense industry.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Has a strong technical interest in autonomous and embedded systems
  • Is self-motivated and thrives taking responsibility
  • Thrives in a small team environment working together on-site
  • Enjoys varied tasks and diving into challenging projects
  • Fluent in Swedish

We would appreciate experience in (meritorious):

  • Embedded systems and hardware-level programming (C/C++)
  • Android
  • Sensor integration and signal processing (IMU, GNSS, barometer)
  • Practical prototyping — soldering, wiring, integration of components in drones
  • Autopilot frameworks such as ArduPilot or PX4, including configuration, parameter handling, and MAVLink communication
  • Integration work between flight controllers and external systems, e.g., via UART, SPI, or CAN
  • GCS tools such as Mission Planner or QGroundControl
