About Us

Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international rehabilitation center. We assist patients with acquired and congenital spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, as well as neurological injuries and diseases. We also offer personal assistance services. We are located in a large, modern building in Frösundavik, Solna, where old barracks premises are combined with new residential rooms, treatment rooms, and a restaurant. We conduct extensive research and educational activities and have a well-developed teamwork culture. We also have a clinic focusing on MS in Liljeholmen. Aleris Rehab Station is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care wards, Basic Home Healthcare, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

The Role

We are looking for a Personal Assistant for our Resource Pool. This role involves staffing outside of regular office hours, including weekends and public holidays. Working hours are between 07:30–15:30 and 15:30–07:30. Your main responsibilities will be to receive absence notifications from our assistants via our duty phone and to go out to our clients to work as a personal assistant when the regular assistant is sick or on temporary leave (sick leave for their own child). You will fill in "urgent gaps" in the staffing.

A handover, both written and verbal, is conducted before and after each work shift with a colleague in the resource pool who takes over during the weekend.

At the moment, we are looking for an employee who can step in for weekend shifts and other public holidays. In the future, there may be a need for reinforcement for evening/night shifts during the week. This position is ideal for someone who already has a part-time job or is studying and wants an extra job on holidays.

The work is primarily performed remotely (from home) while you monitor our duty phone. If you need to step in and work on-site, you travel to the client, usually in their home.

As a personal assistant, you will have a varied job. Your tasks will include supporting and helping clients with their daily lives, such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, communication, meal assistance, cleaning, exercise, administering medication when necessary, and accompanying clients to activities.

About You

Background You are a person with a strong interest in working with people. This role requires you to be flexible, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented. Previous experience working as a personal assistant and/or within healthcare and social care is required, as well as experience with staffing tasks or responsibility. Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. It is highly meritorious if you have a driver's license and access to your own car.
