About the role
We are looking for a Leasing Agent for our office in Gävle! This is a fixed-term position starting immediately, lasting one year with a possibility of extension. At Sveafastigheter, customer satisfaction and quality in the leasing process are our top priorities, and you will become part of a strong and engaged team in the region.
In this role, you are responsible for leasing our apartments in Gävle and Söderhamn. The work is varied and fast-paced, with significant customer contact. You handle the entire leasing process, from marketing and initial customer contact to contract signing and follow-up. You also ensure that administrative tasks are handled correctly and efficiently.
You collaborate closely with property managers, colleagues in leasing, rent administration, and our property technicians—together, you create a positive experience for our tenants.
Examples of responsibilities:
Responsible for contact with existing and potential tenants, ensuring the leasing process runs efficiently.
Strategic work to ensure our homes are rented out at the right time to the right tenants.
Conduct pre-inspections, handle rental agreements, and reconcile payments.
Administer and update the marketplace HomeQ, as well as the property systems Vitec Hyra and Vitec Teknisk Förvaltning.
Independently market our apartments and actively process potential tenants and the existing housing queue for each area.
Who are we looking for?
You are sales-driven, self-motivated, and enjoy the real estate industry. You have a business mindset and a natural drive to create value and good solutions for your customers. You put the customer's needs first and act quickly and effectively based on that.
Personal qualities are very important in the selection for this role, and the formal requirements are:
Education in economics or equivalent at the upper secondary level
Experience in sales and/or customer service
Very good MS Office skills
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Very good proficiency in Swedish and English (both spoken and written). If you can communicate in additional languages, we consider it a significant plus.
Previous experience in the real estate industry is considered a strong merit.
