Renholmen designs and delivers world-leading, high-tech machines with automated solutions for timber handling. We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead diverse projects. We offer a positive, supportive culture with a flat hierarchy, where your ideas drive impactful projects and shape the future of the industry.

About the role

Renholmen is a long-term, high-tech partner to the sawmill industry. They deliver complete plants, machinery, and services to sawmills worldwide – always focusing on safety, quality, and customer benefit. In recent years, they have delivered several major plants to Finland and foresee continued strong growth in the Finnish market. Therefore, we are seeking a Project Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for the projects – from the initial meeting to the final approved installation.

Work tasks

As a Project Manager at Renholmen, you will lead technical projects ranging from minor retrofits to large-scale turnkey deliveries of complete plants. You serve as the hub between the customer, internal resources, and subcontractors. You will work closely with colleagues in design, purchasing, assembly, and automation. The role includes clear commercial responsibility, where you monitor finances, manage forecasts, and lead dialogues and negotiations with customers.

Renholmen's headquarter is located in Byske, Sweden. There are offices also in Skellefteå (Sweden), Kramfors (Sweden) and Vaasa (Finland). While the Finland office is located in Vaasa, this role offers full remote flexibility. Clients are spread across Finland, so you should have a readiness to travel to client sites as projects require. Especially during key project phases, presence at the client’s premises is essential.

  • Lead and execute projects from start to final approved installation.
  • Responsibility for project finances, monitoring, and forecasts.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prioritize internal and external resources.
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers and procure subcontractors.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with customer requirements.

We are looking for

  • Experience in project management within the technical or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple parallel tasks.
  • Strong technical interest and understanding.
  • Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
  • B-class driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have

  • Fluent Swedish language skills.
  • Experience in sawmill, paper, or similar heavy industry.
