We are now looking for summer substitutes/temporary staff for our team at Bergmyntegränd group home.

About Bergmyntegränd Group Home The group home is aimed at adults belonging to person group 1 according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The residents have significant care needs. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with this target group. The facility is staffed around the clock with awake night shifts. The group home consists of five apartments with outdoor areas and common spaces located on one level. The group home is located in a quiet, nature-friendly villa area in Hässelby.

About the Role As a summer/temporary substitute, you work as a housing support worker, basing your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work to make every day meaningful for each resident.

You have a low-affective approach and understand the importance of motivating and meeting each resident based on their daily condition. Examples of tasks: Supporting with communication, personal care, cooking and preparing meals, distributing medication, cleaning, and daily activities such as walks, recycling, café visits, and more.

An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their skills and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time, such as pool activities. Swimming ability is therefore a plus.

Your duties also include documenting and working based on implementation plans together with the respective support person. A company vehicle is available, so a driver's license is also a plus.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends.

You have a team leader close by who spends part of their time working in the facility.

Your Experience and Knowledge The applicant has upper secondary education in care and nursing or other equivalent education.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience in working with the target group is an advantage.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our residents as your starting point in everything you do.
