About the role

Adecco is currently looking for an operator for the processing department at Södra Wood in Kisa. As an operator, you hold a central position in the production process, responsible for ensuring that production is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.

The position is full-time with a start date as soon as possible and runs until June 30, 2026, with a high possibility of extension. You will be offered an stimulating work environment with good opportunities for development within the industry.

Your responsibilities

As an operator in the planing mill, your main tasks will include:

• Operational work in the processing/planing mill
• Monitoring and adjusting machinery
• Quality control of produced goods
• Ensuring production meets set goals
• Contributing to order, safety, and continuous improvement in production

The work is performed in a shift team of approximately 10 people, where collaboration and communication are crucial.

Working hours are in 2-shifts:

Day Shift (FM): Mon–Fri 06.00–14.30
Evening Shift (EM): Mon–Thu 14.25–23.55

Your profile

To thrive and succeed in this role, we look for someone with experience from industrial production and a technical interest.

• Have experience in operational work within the industry, preferably in a similar role
• Have technical understanding and experience working with machinery
• Are detail-oriented and quality-conscious
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Are social and thrive in a team with a relaxed atmosphere
• Are driven, engaged, and forward-thinking

Merits:

• Counterbalance truck license (B)
• Operator certificate for wheel loaders
