Do you want a job that feels real? Where you make a difference every day, while taking responsibility, growing, and being an important part of a community? I am now looking for a personal assistant who also wants to take on the role of team leader, and become one of two key figures in my team.

The position is for approximately 30-35 hours per week, with varying working hours during the day, evening, and every other weekend. Night shifts (awake night) may occur on rare occasions (as needed).

A little about me: I live in an apartment in southern Stockholm with good public transport connections (Green Line and bus). I lead an active, social, and meaningful life – I am involved in the JAG association, work at the JAG center, and enjoy staying active. For me, assistance is more than practical help – it is about security, quality, and interaction in everyday life. When things go well, we create space together for both joy and development.

Who are you? I believe you are a person who works with active listening and presence in the moment, is positive and solution-oriented – someone who likes to take responsibility and sees the big picture.

You:

• Have experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and sign language (TAKK/TSP) and can actively assist me in using my eye-controlled computer for communication with others
• Have experience in personal assistance, preferably also with self-care
• Enjoy being active and have good physical fitness (I use a wheelchair but walk with your support)
• Are practical, enjoy assisting me with cooking, and are organized
• Have previous experience leading others – or feel that it is a natural next step for you

About the team leader role: As a team leader, you help create structure, continuity, and quality in the assistance. Together with my other team leader, you have a helicopter view and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly – for both me and the assistant group.

Working hours: You work according to a four-week schedule with varying shifts, for example:

• 07:30/08:30–15:00/16:00
• 13:00–21:00

Start date: Immediately or as agreed.

About the recruitment process: We contact interesting candidates on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. As part of our recruitment process, we always conduct a background check via Fortcheck, which is sent to you as a candidate via email and SMS. The background check is conducted entirely on your terms – you perform the check yourself and receive the results. You then choose whether to forward the information to us or cancel.
