About the role:

Kiwa Technical Consulting is frequently hired for challenging assignments where education level and experience make a difference. The assignments primarily aim to find solutions that create high safety and trust in our clients' production facilities.

In the role of a consultant, you will be part of a team performing assignments and development projects within risk analysis, functional safety, and ATEX. Our clients are found in several different industries, including power production, process industry, and food/pharmaceutical manufacturing. No client assignment is alike, offering opportunities for personal development and exciting work. You and your future colleagues create a holistic solution that provides our clients with unique market offerings.

The work is varied and driven as group projects or through individual assignments initiated and executed by you from start to finish. In this role, you will move between different functions such as advisor, workshop leader, and project member, where the final result is a report with accompanying recommendations.

The role includes:

• Leading risk analyses at client sites together with colleagues
• Executing assignments in accordance with applicable directives, regulations, and standards
• In close collaboration with colleagues, developing solid decision-making bases and documenting results and recommendations for clients, as well as supporting them in implementation.
• Developing and growing with the team. We have a strong tradition of helping each other solve the questions and problems we are trusted to handle by our clients.

The position is based at Kiwa's offices in Karlstad or Gothenburg. The work requires some travel, primarily within Sweden, but international travel may also occur.

Do you have what it takes?

We place great importance on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is self-reliant, communicative, and engaged, who easily takes own initiatives and is driven to work in a solution-focused manner. The role also requires social skills to meet different people and thrive in social settings. The position is outward-facing with great opportunities to build trust and long-term client relationships. Therefore, it is important that you express yourself well in both Swedish and English.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• At least 3 years of work experience
• Experience in leading and conducting risk analyses as well as writing reports
• Class B Driver's License

It is an advantage if you have:

• Consulting experience and/or project management experience within relevant areas of competence.
