Do you have a technical education and want to develop in a role where you gain insight into how a global industrial company really works? Academic Work is now looking for a Junior Sales & Technical Support for an international client in Lidköping – a perfect start for you who want to combine technology, support, and business!
About the role
As a consultant with our client in Lidköping, you will become a key reinforcement for the Sales & Technical Support function. You will work in the office together with a tight team of three people in sales support and four in technical support. Your role is to act as an important bridge and support the sales colleagues on-site with everything from technical documentation and quotes to order registration for markets such as the USA and Asia.
We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career and has a natural technical understanding. You do not need to be an expert on the products from the start, but you need the drive to look up information and the courage to make your own internal contacts to drive your cases forward. The role requires that you can quickly interpret technical documentation and translate the information into practice.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with production, procurement, and logistics, which gives you a unique holistic view of how products are made and reach the end customer. The tasks are varied and include, among others:
- Technical Sales Support: You support the sales team in the office with preparing technical documentation and quotes in the business system Monitor.
- Drawing Management: You make simple adjustments to existing SolidWorks files (e.g., changing dimensions or adding text) to adapt drawings to the customer's specific order.
- Order Management: You register everything from standard orders to more complex projects with technical changes.
- Logistics & Coordination: You assist with questions regarding how products should be packed and book transport for international deliveries.
We are looking for you who
- Have a technical education from high school, university college, or university.
- Have knowledge of CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Have a strong interest in mechanics.
- Have a basic understanding of electrical/electronics.
- Have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as the role involves daily handling of international orders and documentation.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
- Determined
- Social
- Organized
- Taking responsibility
